Specifically mention how video resources can easily be composed with OSX Server's Podcast Producer and served to mac's iPhones/iPad.
Another aspect ... no NEED to purchase different PDF volume licenses for Adobe Pro/Standard 9/10 for simple editing [I'm unsure if Preview can edit Tables/create them].
MS Office is now properly available for OSX and is up to par with 2010 for Windows: including ability to import, edit and add-on to PST files. This will be an important mention.
* Key point. Mention a server based email anti-virus license solution - for outbound emails, or FTP/Sharepoint sites that have files uploaded to Windows users that your company/employees communicate with.
* MS Office Communicator [OCS] is now available and COMPLETELY compatible for Mac - part of Office 2011 as I'm ALREADY doing this without need for a VPN connection [using OWA settings] with corporation contacts in OCS.
* more standardized ordering of hardware makes support MUCH MUCH easier. Having a high level apple certification for both hardware/server - makes your argument THAT MUCH more sound and heard in a more official and presentable voice.
* Mention how Open Directory supports Active Directory infrastructure - again certification and a direct line of specific Apple support in this respect WILL be crucial and helpful.

I just got a new MacBook Pro this week, and it's sub zero here in Chicago, and I'm posting this from under a blanket in my drafty vintage apartment, so I opted for something a bit warm feeling.

I can remember much smaller disk drives, under 100MB that used 14 inch diameter patters and hydraulic pistons to move the read/write heads. The disk drive was about the same size and shape as a home washing machine. This was in the early 1970's.
Can we go back to floppy drives? I love the way those 5 1/4" floppys.. ummm flopped :)

The G4 will be slow but if its sitting idle it still will get the job done. As for the iBook thats what i use to to fold and it does get a bit warm but is okay as long as the processor is set to automatic in the energy preferences.

There are many saying that the new iPhone 5 will cater more to the gamer people. So if someone is not into gaming, would it make sense to spend money and upgrade to the 5?
Rumours are rumours. Make your decision when the iPhone 5 is released.

"Just wait for the Verizon iPhone 4 numbers!"
"Just wait for the White iPhone 4 numbers!"
"Just wait for the iPhone 4S numbers!"
"Just wait for the iPhone 5 numbers!"
I'm starting to see a pattern.
Name 1 Android device with sales figures like the iPhone 4.
Apple...
You are/were 1 to 2 years late with putting out this Verizon iPhone.
Android has gained adoption...
Don't worry, you will be fine in the long run - a Verizon LTE iPhone 6 will get your sales kicked in within the Verizon market. I know I will be going back to an iPhone when it happens.
Keep in mind Apple approached VZW first, and when they were turned down, Apple then went to Cingular(Now AT&T).

BTW, if you guys haven't read Marc Thiessen's Courting Disaster, pick it up. He explains that waterboarding was not used to get answers to questions or confessions, but rather to break their will and spirit and get them to agree to start cooperating.
The first big fish they got after 9/11, Abu Zubaida (also in a stellar takedown op), told his CIA interrogators that AQ were trained to resist only as long as they personally could and, once they had reached their personal breaking point, they were free to sing like canaries with a clear conscience. The reasoning behind this was that Allah would always be victorious, so they'd not be compromising the larger mission and would have done their religious duty by offering as much resistance as they could.
Once the CIA knew this, the enhanced interrogation techniques were personalized to let each detainee know that it would never stop until they agreed to cooperate and things would get better as soon as they did. KSM was the toughest one of the bunch and, when he reached his breaking point, he asked for a pad and paper and was willing to write down everything they needed.

That's not how civilization works. What happens is that a superior country will immigrate people from external inferior lands where necessary. Much, as you can imagine, to take over the "low end" jobs to support the "high end" workers. An early version of this is known as "slavery". Today, we just give immigrants low wages and more "freedom" albeit they still mop the floor so the CEO doesn't slip.
It's also consistent with the idea of importing "strong slaves". Those migrant workers are often the hard workers and upper teir of thier former civilization. Because...those are the ones who make the trip and are productive enough to be allowed to stay without being weeded out.
Later, when these "strong slaves" reproduce, it provides the country with strong genetic stock for future workers, whom some will break away from the lower classes. It doesn't matter if they are not part of the "2.1 whites". As a matter of fact, many 2.1 white rednecks trickle to the lower classes, just as super strong immigrates get to invent some of our greatest weapons.
Furthurmore, as technology advances, "manpower" is compensated by "brainpower". Before the steam engine cycle was invented, it would take like 100 slaves to get the boat of wheat accross the ocean. Now it takes maybe one or a couple of engineers...to play cards...until something breaks.
One really talented engineer can't support two elderly people who demand a high quality of life, and do you realize what massive immigration to Europe is going to do? It will break their culture.

Added geektool scripts finally! I feel like my corners are balanced now. So many useful small apps too! Let me know what you guys think!

this looks awesome! does having these scripts on your computer slow it down it all?
if not, is there a tutorial to do this sort of this somewhere on this site? there used to be in one of the old desktop threads but i can't find it at the moment :(.

I guess we probably won't see any major change in the direction of OSX. I wonder what the science he wants to focus on could be?
