I wish Apple would make cheaper computers. I'm stuck with a $299 Hackintosh.

Its a nice app, but way overrated.
I think so too. I find that Twitterrific is a more polished better looking app than Tweetie 2.0 - I have buyers remorse.

You should see the bruised ego when a gay man tells a straight man he's not attracted to him. Trust me, that one stings. For some reason, straight guys think we all think they're hot or something.
Straight boys, most of you stop being hot after 25-30, when you're married and you beer bellies have taken over, and instead of playing sports, all you do is watch them on TV (which, even if you continue to play, is about the time we start kicking your asses) :). Why would you think we would find that attractive? Most of you have nothing to worry about.

Wowee!! Congratulations!! :p And yeah, other people may have gotten all sorts of gadgets, but no iPad is gonna top a lifelong partner (99 times out of 100 at least :o)
Hahaha, you right, and thanks! My mom got an iPad from my dad, so I get to play with it here and there. Pretty nifty, but I don't know if I would ever drops the money on a big iPhone. :p

I, too, was expecting iLife 07. I've got two gift cards just waiting to plunk down toward the purchase of a new Mac Pro. Besides iLife, I was hoping for a Mac Pro refresh, including a better graphics card, and the dual quad-core option, so the prices of the other processors would fall.

OK, this is nice, but they need to light a fire under the collective ass of the .mac development team. That service is in dire need of a complete and total overhaul.

Just FYI I bolded out the most specific part. You do realize that there are still phones not capable of setting the time remotely? I still use an old Nokia phone that has no automatic time syncing.

The patent application has this to say about acquiring a time-signal over an established connection to a CDMA network...
the controller 110 (eg a microprocessor) extracts the system time, as well as various parameters, from the received sync channel message and stores the extracted data
That's it. They make it sound quite trivial don't they? Almost as if that's not the point of this patent.

To be honest, it's only another iPhone rumor to add to the mix. The idea that Apple is ploughing ahead with new models is nice, but let's wait for v1.0 first before we start speculating about 'new' features.
All this iPhone hype is a bit ridiculous. Remember that the iPhone, when and if it comes out, will be essentially identical to some current SonyEriccson phones, or even the LG Chocolate.:rolleyes: Yes, it may have an apple logo on it, but it's almost certainly not going to be significantly new technology.
